Giacobazzi Il Fruttato is a lightly sparkling Lambrusco Grasparossa di Castelvetro DOC red wine from the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy, the historic home of Lambrusco wines. It is produced mainly from Lambrusco Grasparossa grapes with the addition of Lambrusco Sorbara and Malbo Gentile, creating a rich and well-balanced style.
In the glass, the wine shows an intense ruby-red color with garnet reflections. The bouquet reveals notes of red berries and strawberry with delicate spicy hints. The taste is fruity and pleasantly semi-sweet (amabile), well balanced by light tannins and a smooth, harmonious finish.
